Note to Self - the Mind's a Terrible Thing...

I'm really just posting this as a handy-dandy reminder to myself (and a quick title drive-by nod to George Carlin, lolz). It's just a tiny bit o illumination in the last line of this Writer's Digest post, written by Khanh Ha, author of FLESH (May 2012, Black Heron Press). And it's short and sweet and packs a quick, pointy punch. (Ow! Hey!)

Like ta hear it, here it go:

There are no hard scenes to write. Really. Those so-called difficult scenes are what writers make them out to be with their paranoia. So before they can write such scenes, their anxiety has already killed their creativity to write them.

Sigh. I love it when I get called out by authors who didn't even know I was guilty. (Like this one recently did. Number 1 anyone?). Good stuff.
